Jodi Stemler Consulting has worked with the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP) on a number of projects over the past seven years. In 2013, Jodi organized a sportsmen's reception hosted by TRCP for newly confirmed Department of the Interior, Sally Jewell. In late 2011 and throughout 2012, Jodi supported TRCP's work on solar energy siting policy. Jodi organized a two-day forum for sportsmen to discuss solar energy and served as the point person developing comments and organizing media efforts for Department of the Interior planning efforts. In June 2012, Jodi coordinated the "Redefining Mitigation" Workshop with the Sportsmen for Responsible Energy Development partners along with The Nature Conservancy and Defenders of Wildlife. From 2006 to 2008, Jodi supported the TRCP's Fish, Wildlife and Energy Working Group's communications and outreach efforts. From 2005 to 2006, Jodi served as the initiative manager for TRCP's Marine Conservation Initiative. This included building and managing a recreational fishing coalition to impact policy decisions on Capitol Hill, developing all campaign materials including a cohesive campaign brochure and website, and coordinating press outreach to mainstream and outdoor media including press releases, news teleconferences, and a three day media summit. |

In 2013, Jodi is helping recruit hunting and fishing businesses to support the Protect the Flows coalition - a business-based coalition working to ensure adequate river flows of the Colorado River basin. In addition, she is writing outreach materials for the coalition outlining the importance of river flows to support a healthy real estate market. |

Jodi Stemler Consulting supports the Heroes of Conservation program for Field & Stream Magazine serving as the magazine's connection to the fish and wildlife conservation community as well as Federal and State government decision-makers. Efforts include securing VIP speakers, judges and attendees at the 2007 and 2008 Gala in New York City, the 2009-2013 Galas in Washington, DC. In addition, Jodi helps identify critical conservation issues, and appropriate speakers for a panel discussion at the 2008 to 2013 SHOT Show Heroes of Conservation Roundtable. |

Since September 2009, Jodi Stemler Consulting has been organizing communications and media outreach for the Land and Water Conservation Fund Coalition. Efforts have included overseeing the development of a campaign website and coordinating with partners on earned media that resulted in hundreds of opinion pieces and articles in 2010 and 2011. Since 2011, Jodi's efforts have focued on working with the sportsmen's community and outdoor writers to raise awareness of LWCF. |

In 2012, after five years writing two to three articles monthly, Jodi was named the editor of the Wildlife Management Institute's Outdoor News Bulletin. As editor, Jodi oversees the development of timely, informative articles for the publication and ensures that the publication is distributed on or around the 15th of each month. Jodi continues to write articles including in-depth federal conservation funding issues, Endangered Species Act policy, public lands management, and other relevant conservation issues affecting natural resources. |

In 2012, Jodi Stemler Consulting managed the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation's project to spotlight the economic impacts of sportsmen. The report, that is released every five years has become one of the most effective communications pieces for the hunting, fishing and conservation community. Jodi managed this project for CSF when she served as their Director of Communications in 2002 and supported the project through research of state economic indicators in 2007. |

In 2012, Jodi Stemler Consulting supported the National Wildlife Federation with efforts to promote the importance of federal public lands to sportsmen. Working with partners in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and New York, Jodi supported media outreach efforts through development of online and printed materials as well as writing opinion pieces in local news publications. |

This included designing event materials, managing the event web sites, coordinating partner involvement and serving as the primary point of contact for the media. |

In January 2010, Jodi Stemler Consulting did media relations work with the Coalition to Protect the Rocky Mountain Front and other groups to announce the relinquishment of over 29,000 acres of energy leases in the Badger-Two Medicine area of Montana's Rocky Mountain Front. |

In 2008, Jodi Stemler Consulting coordinated press outreach and materials development for the 2008 White House Conference on North American Wildlife Policy. Jodi Stemler Consulting served as the primary liaison with the White House, Council on Environmental Quality and Departments of Interior and Agriculture press personnel to ensure the conference was widely publicized in the outdoor media. This included working with partners such as Versus to produce an event video that leveraged their skills to increase awareness on TV and in Video on Demand. |

In 2007, Jodi Stemler Consulting assisted the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to assess the need for coordinated wind/wildlife siting protocols by researching and reporting on wind power siting regulations and wildlife guidelines in the 50 States. The final report details the current status of wind siting regulations, incentives for wind energy development, and wind siting guidelines for wildlife issues as well as a review of state environmental policy acts with similar environmental assessment provisions to the National Environmental Policy Act to determine any additional environmental review requirements for wind development. |
