Jodi Stemler Consulting supported Partners for Conservation on meeting coordination and facilitation as well as research and report writing. In September 2020, Partners for Conservation rebranded the organization to the new name of Partnerscapes. The organization continues to be a landowner-led organization with the same focus of improving landscapes through communication. Partnerscapes speaks to the potential for partnerships that can serve our landscapes now and going forward.

Jodi Stemler Consulting worked with Partners for Conservation to participate in the 2018 Private Lands Partners Day in Springfield, Missouri to take notes and photograph the event in order to produce the organization’s post-conference report.

Collaborative Conservation Workshops

In 2018, Jodi helped Partners for Conservation develop two Collaborative Conservation training workshops for landowners and partners. The workshops were hosted in Boise, ID and Jodi helped with the logistics and event facilitation and wrote the post-event summary report. The final workshop of the series, hosted in September 2019 and facilitated again by Jodi, brought together team leaders from agencies and organizations to discuss opportunities to integrate partnerships and collaboration into program development.

Jodi Stemler Consulting conducted interviews and wrote Perspectives on Collaborative Conservation, a report that seeks to identify how sage grouse collaboration efforts were different than previous responses to natural resource challenges.

Working Lands for Wildlife Forums

In 2016, Jodi Stemler Consulting is organizing two forums on NRCS’s Working Lands for Wildlife Program for PFC, a national forum in Denver in May and an eastern regional forum in West Virginia in November. Jodi facilitated the Denver meeting and wrote the follow up report for the meeting.

In July 2015, Jodi Stemler Consulting helped coordinate a roundtable in Helena, MT that brought together ranchers with Chief Jason Weller of the Natural Resources Conservation Service to discuss sage grouse conservation. In addition, Jodi has helped PFC write media materials supporting the important role of private landowners in ensuring sustainable populations of grouse.
