In 2013, Jodi helped recruit hunting and fishing businesses to support the Protect the Flows coalition – a business-based coalition working to ensure adequate river flows of the Colorado River basin. In addition, she coordinated the content and production of outreach materials for the coalition outlining the importance of river flows to support a healthy real estate market.

Jodi Stemler Consulting used data developed by Southwick Associates that documented the potential loss of real estate values should river flows along the Colorado River watershed decline. The one-page infographics focused on four communities – Aspen, Colorado; Grand County, Colorado; Farmington, New Mexico; and Sedona Arizona.
