Jodi Stemler is the editor of the Wildlife Management Institute’s Outdoor News Bulletin. As editor, Jodi oversees the development of timely, informative articles for the publication and ensures that the publication is distributed on or around the 15th of each month. Jodi also writes articles for the ONB including in-depth reports on federal conservation funding issues, Endangered Species Act policy, public lands management, and other relevant conservation issues affecting natural resources.

2007 - Present

Jodi has served as editor of the Wildlife Management Institute’s Outdoor News Bulletin since January 2012, and written articles for every edition since July of 2007. Her writing focuses on wildlife management policy issues in particular conservation funding, endangered species, legislative activity and more. Since Jodi began editing the ONB, new regular features including the Cooperative Research Unit Corner, Conservation Briefs and sections on landscape and collaborative conservation have been added to the publication. The ONB is distributed to over 4,000 conservation professionals and outdoor writers on a monthly basis.
